Thanksgiving gives us a rare moment to pause, breathe, and reflect on what truly matters. In the middle of busy schedules, schoolwork, practices, and everyday life, gratitude helps us slow down and appreciate the people and moments that shape our journey. At Houston Force Volleyball Club, this season is all about celebrating the heart of our community — the athletes, families, coaches, and the #ForceFam culture that make our club more than just a place to play volleyball.

Thankful for Our Athletes
Every athlete who walks through our doors inspires us. We’re grateful for their hard work, determination, and willingness to grow. We see athletes showing up with energy, learning new skills, bouncing back from tough days, and discovering their own strength. Their courage to try, fail, get back up, and try again is one of the greatest gifts in youth sports. Watching them become more confident — not just as volleyball players but as young people — reminds us why we do what we do.
Thankful for Our Parents & Families
Behind every athlete is a family that cheers, sacrifices, and supports with so much love. We are deeply grateful for the parents who make time in their busy schedules to drive to practices, sit through tournaments, encourage their child, and trust Houston Force to guide their athlete’s growth. Families are the foundation of our club, and their partnership is what makes the #ForceFam truly feel like home. The belief and support from parents fuel a positive, uplifting environment for every child.

Thankful for Our Coaches & Staff
Our coaches and staff bring passion, patience, and heart to everything they do. They teach more than technique — they teach communication, resilience, leadership, and confidence. They celebrate the small wins, support athletes through challenges, and create an environment where every player feels valued. We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and emotion they pour into growing the next generation, both on the court and beyond it.
Thankful for the #ForceFam Culture
Culture is what makes Houston Force special. It’s the high-fives, the encouragement after mistakes, the laughter during drills, and the friendships that form along the way. It’s the belief that we grow better when we grow together. Our #ForceFam culture is rooted in connection, kindness, and belonging — and we’re thankful for the way athletes and families build that culture every single day.
Thankful for Growth — On the Court and in Life
Volleyball teaches so many life lessons: teamwork, focus, communication, discipline, perseverance. These skills follow athletes long after the season ends. We’re grateful for the opportunity to teach and witness this kind of growth — the kind that shapes character, not just athletic ability. At Houston Force, we value both kinds of development equally.
Thankful for What’s Ahead
As we step deeper into the season, we’re filled with gratitude for what’s already been built and excitement for what’s still to come. The future is bright, and we’re honored to be part of each athlete’s journey. Gratitude makes us stronger, closer, and more grounded as we move forward together.
At Houston Force, “family” isn’t just a word — it’s a feeling. And this Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for every member of the #ForceFam who brings heart, dedication, and positivity to our community.
From our family to yours, thank you for being part of this journey.
