The second half of the volleyball club season is upon us, signaling the start of the most thrilling tournaments yet! As we gear up for the competition, it's time to unleash all our hard work and preparation on the court. While we're well-versed in the intensity of one and two-day tournaments, the three-day events bring a whole new level of excitement and challenge.



Timeline of a 3-day tournament


Day 1: Pool Play and Team Bonding

Excitement and nerves fill the air as teams enter the convention center on Day 1 of the tournament. Today is dedicated to pool play, where teams typically compete in three games to determine their placement in the bracket. As this is an out-of-town tournament, expect opportunities for team bonding, whether it's exploring a local attraction together or gathering for a team brunch or dinner based on your wave schedule.


Day 2: Intense Competition

As the tournament progresses into the second day, the intensity only amplifies. More pool play matches unfold, offering teams the chance to solidify their positions in the tournament brackets. Fatigue starts to set in for many athletes, yet amidst the exhaustion, a sense of determination and resilience emerges. It's a day where athletes not only showcase their skills but also immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the host city, creating new friendships and lasting memories.


Day 3: Bracket Play

The highly anticipated bracket play takes center stage on Day 3, where mental toughness becomes important. After facing formidable competition over the previous days, teams are placed in gold, silver, or bronze brackets based on their performances. Regardless of bracket placement, every athlete is laser-focused on giving their all, striving to achieve collective success as a team.
